Hello February! We have a beautiful scene of wildflowers and a delightful little girl to pastel this month.

The wildflowers are just what we need in anticipation of Spring and warmer weather with blue skies. I'll be showing you a few different ways of tackling this piece and then I'll complete the piece using my favourite method.

I've chosen a close crop as I don't want her bold pink hat to be a distraction. I'll show you how to practice skin tones before you start the portrait. The Monday before the class I will email you a PDF with ref photo, a gridded version and also a line drawing, materials list suggestions and the Zoom link to join the class Live. Remember that you don't have to join Live. All classes are recorded in HD so you can watch at your leisure. The video is usually available the next day once I have processed it.
