Moss PortraitWe lost our dog Moss last year, and when Susan started sending us “progress photos” they brought tears to my eyes. We didn’t have very many photos of Moss, and this was taken by a friend and only available in black and white. Sue successfully added colour to the photo bringing out our friends real likeness. My son was heartbroken when the dig died and we’re getting the portrait framed for his room so he has something lasting to remember his best friend by. Sue handled our best friend sensitively and the portrait arrived through the post in perfect condition complete with framing advice. I think the pastels bring out much more of the fur than any other medium might have done, the portrait looks very lifelike.

You should have seen my son’s face when this arrived for us  – he’s cried over it in the framing shop, and cried over it when we hung it at the weekend. Bless him. He still misses Moss. Such a stunning piece of pastel work, it looks very lifelike. And Gorgeous in it’s frame on his wall (need to take a photo – but it’s such a MESS in his room right now…)
