I’ve recently started painting wedding portraits.  The painting on the right was my first portrait of a wedding with the happy couple looking out at all their friends and family.  Proud husband and glowing bride.  It’s always a pleasure to paint portraits but when it is a special occasion like this it’s a complete honour!  I know it was difficult for the photographer to get a good photo for me to paint as she was not the official photographer and didn’t have the best position but I think she did a fabulous job in getting this shot.  The bride and groom were over the moon with their wedding gift.  I have a couple of more wedding portraits to paint in the coming months and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.
