I’ll show you how to create this Blue Tit in Pastel & Ink from start to finish, step by step.  Expert tuition in a relaxed environment and all the help you need.

we’ll be creating a delightful ink background.  Which we apply with a spray bottle and a splash of ink, then move the paper around to make the ink run.  You can make some lovely effects using this technique.   You can also rework it with more ink if it needs a tweak.   Lots of fun!  See the images of the colours you can make.

The beauty of this technique is that the background doesn’t use up any of the texture/tooth of the paper so you are free to pastel over the top of it.

• Bring your own lunch and a sketch book. Anything will do, if not I’ll have paper for you.

Location: Marchwood Church Hall, Marchwood, Southampton, Hampshire UK.  It is a large wooden building on Main Road next to St John’s the Apostle Church.

What to bring: Something to take your work home in and Lunch – there are shops nearby.
Parking: Surrounding rounds and opposite in Mulberry Road behind the bush line there is a small car park.

Supplies: ALL Supplies are included but if you work at a desk easel please bring that.  I will have boards and a support to angle your board.  Please don’t bring your own supplies as things tend to get muddled up and I end up losing supplies.

Parking: You can park opposite in Mulberry Road or in the central shops car park

Terms: No refunds but you can transfer your fee to another workshop once if you cancel at least 48 hours before the workshop.
