My key message in this one is to help you not to create a big blue mess. It would be very easy to slap down dark colours for the sky and then slap the Aurora on top of it, do some fancy blending and hey-presto it's perfect. This is what experts do when they have spent time practicing their techniques. If you do that and you're new-ish to soft pastel, you're going to end up in a big blue mess and no Aurora. Absolutely fantastic tutorial, I have learnt lots of new skills, to be able to paint the aurora. Something I really love and have been fastenated by them for years. I love Sue’s clear and easy to follow instructions that anyone can follow, with all the step by step guides.
