Sue guides you through every step and explains everything from colour choices to using a light touch. In the video you see Sue talking you through what she is doing. The added benefit is that you can rewatch and slow the video down to see exactly what is happening. It is broken down into small steps for you to follow so it is not so daunting.

An excellent tutorial on a very difficult subject, Sue’s teaching made this challenging but achievable. Lots of tips for using the pencils in different ways, colour mixing and blending, and above all painting realistic moving water. Sue’s encouraging style, with clear explanations and examples, is easy on the ear and simple to follow.
I’m now full of confidence and ready to tackle rocks and water in my own photo references. Thank you, Sue

I found this to be a very helpful tutorial, Sue clearly explains how to approach such a complex subject and demonstrates lots of pastel pencil techniques which I now feel I’d be confident taking forward into other work.
    Thanks Sue

Loved this image. A hard one with all the small sections but a great challenge and brilliant support to get it done by Sue.

I studied the photo really well, as there are lots of ‘bits’ in it. Lots of nooks and crannies, that Sue points out and shows you how to deal with them. Very gently pushing
you out of your comfort zone, building your confidence. Thank you Sue, another great course.
