I wanted to get a portrait of my boyfriend’s dog for a Christmas or birthday present, his birthday is really close to Christmas!
As I didn’t have any quality photographs and it wasn’t easy to get a photograph with out my boyfriend being suspicious I took Hugo to Sue’s house to photograph whilst she was taking part in Hampshire Open Studios week. The photo we finally chose shows Hugo’ s character perfectly, he is well known for his head tilt and tongue poking out.
I was totally amazed with the finished portrait of Hugo, it was so detailed and just like him, Sue definitely captured his personality and character.
I really liked how I got updated on the progress It made me feel really confident that the portrait would be perfect.
I showed some friends and family and the loved it as well and I would definitely recommend Sue to anyone else wanting a portrait.
