I commissioned Sue to paint a portrait of my horse Harley for Sara, a very special friend of mine who rides Harley. Sue came to photograph Harley for me, she was able to get just the right angle for the portrait and show Harley in the best light.
Immediately I saw the first drafts of the portrait I recognised Harley right away! Sue had captured his personality right from the beginning. He is a very characterful horse and Sue captured his cheeky personality.
I was really pleased with how Sue kept me up to date with her progress and asked me questions throughout the process to ensure that the portrait was completed exactly how I wanted it.
Sara was really pleased to receive the portrait and also recognised him immediately. She has been a very special friend to me and I wanted to get her something special, this was spot on!
