Thank you so much. I could not believe that I achieved this portrait of a white cat on white paper. Patience was certainly needed but the series of videos helped to break up the process. I learnt so much more about using pastel pencils, which is something I have wanted to know about. However, the white subject on white paper was what attracted me to this class. The tuition was excellent. I have a black cat and am now wondering if I could perhaps capture her portrait on black paper.

I finished Sue’s tutorial with the flyffy white cat this morning. This is drawn on a white pastel mat and that has always filled me with a little bit of fear 😧 But after this splendid tutorial from Soft Pastel Tuition Sue Kerrigan-Harris (VIP Members) taking me through this process I’m no longer afraid of white pastel mat.
Just make sure to take a shower before you start 🤭😅 and clean your working space really well ….then you have eliminated smearing around on your beautiful white pastel mat 😘 😅
