Loved this tutorial, it takes a long time as is very in-depth but Sue breaks it down into sections which you need. Also the way Sue pulls out the colours is amazing – I still have a lot to learn. Thanks Sue for a great tutorial!

Absolutely loved this tutorial! There’s a lot to pastel, but Sue breaks it down into manageable sections. The technique for creating the fur on the hare’s chest was really clever. Thank you Sue!

I’m fairly new to pastels so it’s still pretty overwhelming sometimes. This tutorial has a little bit of everything, Sue shared some great tips, especially building layers for fur, blurring your background out, and integrating pastel pencils into your work. Also, I’ve never used Sofft tools, and I’m glad I made a small investment for this class. Sue mentioned that they work just fine with Unisons which is the majority of my pastels and they do. Completely different from using your fingers. Thanks, the March Hare was fun.

I have been working with pastels for a few years and always love tutorials. One can always learn new techniques. Sue’s hare tutorial has been most enjoyable and taught me a lot about colour choices and blending. highly recommended.
