This is yet another excellent tutorial from Sue. I had never attempted sea and sand before but with her easy going, friendly manner she transfers her knowledge and skills so that you have confidence in yourself to give it a go and produce your own take on the subject. I have found I have learnt so much from each of Sue’s tutorials and this was no exception. I’m thrilled with the end result and can’t wait to do another. She helps you every step of the way to understand what is the best way to tackle something and why. If you are stuck you can always ask her what you should do and she takes the time and trouble to point you in the right direction. I loved this tutorial.

Enjoyed doing this tutorial live, I used pastelmat, slightly wider as that was what I had, so a few more groins. I didn’t use the alcohol wash. Unison Pastels with some Sennelier with Carbothello and Pitt Pastel pencils. Thank you Sue for another great tutorial.

Sunset beach was my second tutorial with Sue, and as with the first one, Sue’s ability to pass on her knowledge and tips is exceptional. Fairly new to pastels I have learned so much from Sue who is always so positive and helpful. I wish I had found her ages ago and highly recommend her tutorials. You will progress as an artist and achieve pieces that you thought were beyond your ability. Thank you Sue.

This tutorial like all of Sue’s tutorials was exceptional. Her artistic abilities along with an incredible talent for teaching is outstanding. I learn so much from every tutorial, this one included. Hints and tips are given throughout, but not only that, Sue’s tutorials are always great fun. Because she is such a happy and positive person, that attitude is passed on to her students enhancing our experience of the tutorial phenomenally. Thank you Sue.
